Poker pro David Diaz, who won a bracelet in 2011, has been 86’ed from the World Series of Poker. Diaz took to Twitter soon after the incident happened.

A spokesperson for the World Series of Poker confirmed that Diaz had been booted, but declined to discuss the matter, citing legal reasons. It’s unclear exactly what happened.

Two days after he was kicked out, Diaz was still coming to grips with not being able to play any more poker tournaments at the Series this year.

Some poker pros took to Twitter to voice support for Diaz. Those players included Matt Waxman and Chance Kornuth, who Tweeted that “we all get drunk sometimes” and that Diaz “is one of the nicest guys in poker and deserves another chance.”

Diaz had cashed twice during the 2013 WSOP.
