Las Vegas poker players will have a brand new felt to play on starting Friday, July 12 when The Las Vegas Hotel and Casino has their grand opening of the Poker Pit.
The Poker Pit, located near the Tempo Lounge in the main casino will feature hold’em, stud eight-or-better, Omaha eight-or-better and other games upon request.
The Poker Pit will also offer an array of tournaments including: survivor, ladies only, no-limit and H.O.R.S.E.
The LVH is eager to announce that 1983 World Series of Poker champ Tom McEvoy is set to be their celebrity poker host.
“We are very excited to have poker back at the LVH,” said Jim Roets, Sr. Vice President Gaming Operations. “Between a full complement of standard games and all different kinds of tournaments, poker players will have everything they want here and then some.”
