The World Poker Tour has released the details on the second half of its season XII (2013-14) schedule, with seven main tour stops and nine smaller WPT Regional and WPT National events.
There are a number of events returning from prior seasons, with the most notable change being that the WPT World Championship has been moved to the Borgata in Atlantic City for the first time, and will feature a $15,400 buy-in as opposed to the $25,000 cost in all prior seasons.
Also worth nothing is that the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, who hosted the $10,000,000 guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open main event at the end of August, will be hosting another $5,300 buy-in, $10 million guaranteed main event, and this time it will be recorded for TV as part of the WPT.
“We are very excited about the depth and breadth of our Season XII schedule,” said WPT President Adam Pliska. “We’ve taken great care to ensure all of our players — whether they’re on the Main Tour or in our WPT Regional or WPT National events — enjoy world class experiences at premier venues around the globe.”
