Ultimate Poker Championship Series Kicks Off Thursday, October 10Series Features Over $250,000 In Guarantees |

The Ultimate Poker Championship, open to anyone with an Ultimate Poker account in Nevada, kicks off Thursday, Oct. 10 with the first of 11 events. The series features over $250,000 in guarantees, including a $100,000 guarantee for the $300 buy-in main event on Oct. 20.
A number of no-limit hold’em variations are being offered, included turbo, six-max, deep stack and mega stack. There are also two limit hold’em tournaments being spread as well.
Players who wish to get in cheap can take advantage of a number of satellites starting at just $10 that take place the day before the event. Additionally, there will be daily $10 satellites to the main event running at 7:30 p.m. from Oct. 10-19.
Each of the 11 champions will receive a custom Ultimate Poker watch. The best players from the series will battle it out on the UPC 1 Leaderboard, where the overall winner will earn free entries into all UPC 2 events.
