The Hustler Casino in Gardena, California has just wrapped up it’s highly successful 2013 Liz Flynt Fall Poker Classic tournament series. The highlight of the entire six-event series was undeniably event 3, a $160 buy-in + $100 add-on tournament that sported a gigantic $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Over the 13 starting flights a grand total of 3,798 entries where made in addition to 3,566 add-ons, blowing away the guarantee by more than $300,000. The event began on Oct. 19th, and it wasn’t until Oct. 28th that the final hand was dealt and a winner was decided. After a deal was made between the final six players to distribute the $456,250 remaining in the prize pool, it was Zeke Ramirez who emerged victorious on the final hand he opened to 900,000 with pocket jacks only to have Leroy Le shove all-in for 4 million with K-Q. Ramirez made the call and his jacks held up to secure him the title and the massive trophy.
