China Will Soon Be Exposed to Texas Hold'em

New James Bond Film Will Be Shown in Entirety

China is about to get a little taste of Texas.

Chinese government censors have decided to allow the new James Bond film, Casino Royale, to be shown in its entirety. This includes a scene featuring James Bond playing his new favorite casino game, Texas hold'em poker. The film is expected to open in China Jan. 30, 2007.

The new Bond, played by Daniel Craig, prefers Texas hold'em over baccarat. This will be the first time that Chinese moviegoers will be exposed to the game of Texas hold'em.

There are about 1.3 billion people in China and the gambling province of Macau has recently surpassed Las Vegas in terms of dollars generated by gambling.
