VIDEO: Cop Allegedly Playing Internet Poker While Driving In Snowy Weather

Don’t drive and grind.

Hat tip to the New York Daily News for the above video that supposedly shows a Chicago-area cop playing online poker in his car, while driving no less.

Oh, and the weather conditions appeared to be pretty poor as well.

The cop was filmed from what appears to be the cell phone of a civilian driving alongside the cop. The video is just 45 seconds in length and has already been viewed more than 20,000 times. It went up on YouTube via Filming Cops earlier this week.

The officer, whose name has not yet been made public, reportedly is under investigation.

“The officer in this video has been identified,” the police department’s spokesperson said in a statement. “Due to the seriousness of this incident, the Bolingbrook Police Department has placed this under an internal investigation.”

This story reminds one of U.S. lawmaker John McCain getting caught playing poker on his phone while his colleagues debated going to war with Syria.

Hey, at least poker is popular.
