Poker Site Partners With New York RangersWSOP, Hockey Team Ink Marketing Deal |

Last week, the New York Rangers, a team in the National Hockey League, and Caesars Interactive Entertainment, a top online gaming operator in the United States, announced a new marketing partnership. It makes WSOP.com, which offers online poker in New Jersey, the exclusive online gaming partner of the Rangers.
The idea behind it is to offer promotions that benefit both parties.
“We look forward to being part of the stretch run and educating tri-state area Rangers fans on this exciting new offering available to both residents and visitors in New Jersey,” CIE Vice President of Marketing and Brand Michael Staskin said in a statement released Mar. 25.
“We will show Rangers and Knicks fans just how easy it is to score from home on WSOP.com and CaesarsCasino.com.”
The latter site has synergy with the NBA’s New York Knicks.
“We are excited to have the Rangers partner with this brand new category and industry leader WSOP.com to provide our passionate and loyal fans the opportunity to win some very unique experiences and prizes,” Dave Howard, president, MSG Sports, said in a statement.
As part of the deal, the gambling websites will also be visible at the arena.
New Jersey is one of only three states in the nation with legalized online gambling.
