The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that boxing star Floyd Mayweather and rapper Cliff Joseph Harris, a.k.a T.I., got into an altercation Saturday night at a Las Vegas “Fat Burger” location.

The fight reportedly stemmed from Mayweather saying something about T.I.’s wife. T.I. apparently walked up to Mayweather, more words were exchanged, and T.I. threw a punch. Bodyguards for both men tried to break it up and then a chair-throwing brawl ensued. (See below.)

According to a Bleacher Report article, Mayweather said of the confrontation: “I said [to T.I], ‘Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful s—t. Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.’ [T.I.] said, ‘You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.’ I said, ‘My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.’ Just like that.”

Both were in town for similar gigs. Mayweather was the celebrity host Friday at Prive nightclub at TW Theatre on the Strip. T.I. was the celebrity host there on Saturday night.
