Online Poker Player Wins One Billion Play-Money PotRecord-Sized Play-Money Pot Goes To Grinder With King-High Flush |

Move over Viktor Blom, here’s something for the online poker record books.
According to reports, the largest play-money pot in the history of online poker went down the other day on Full Tilt Poker. It was for a total of 1,006,260,000—which is worth around $2,000 in the Full Tilt play-money store.
You can buy 100 million play chips for $200. Play chips can’t be redeemed for cash, however.
The table at which the hand occurred on July 22 was shorthanded six-card Omaha, which is a game very rarely seen in a live setting. Unknown “1shini” had a king-high flush, and it was good to win the pot. The other player apparently did not show.
Free-play grinders on the site can get 1,000 free chips every day. It’s unclear if 1shini started with a free 1,000 to reach the nosebleeds or had purchased additional chips.
The record for a real-money pot is roughly $1.3 million, which was won by Patrik Antonius.
