Card Player TV Video Spotlight -- Olivier Busquet On Reasons For BettingTop Heads-Up Sit-n-Go and Tournament Pro Shares Poker Strategy Insight |

Olivier Busquet first became notorious in the poker community in 2008 when someone began a thread on an online poker forum noting that “Livb112 has 1 hell of a sick graph!”
The graph in question showed that over 18,000 heads-up sit-n-go’s played (just a small sample of his total games played) Busquet had racked up earnings of more than $940,000. As his fame grew, the New York native became one of the most respected heads-up sit-and-go players in the game. He was the first player ever to profit $1 million dollars in the format and had reached $2 million in profits before anyone else had even matched his first million-dollar benchmark. He has also found plenty of success on the tournament circuit, with nearly $4.7 million in live earnings and a World Poker Tour title to his name.
Card Player TV recently caught up with Busquet, who kindly shared some of his thoughts on poker strategy in regards to betting. In the video interview he discusses reasons for betting in poker, betting for value, betting as a bluff, and why betting for information is one of the less compelling reason to bet in poker.
