Aussie Millions Main Event Starts Today

Field of Over 700 Split Into Two Day 1 Flights; Battle For $1.5 Million First Place Prize

The 2006 Aussie Millions main event starts today with over 700 player expected to participate on days 1A and 1B. The early numbers also put the total prize pool at $7 million, which means the event will pay a $1.5 million first-place cash prize for the winner. Some of the notable players participating in the Aussie Millions main event include Joe Hachem, Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, Daniel Negreanu, Gavin Smith, David Singer, Erik Seidel, Chris Ferguson, Patrik Antonius, Tony G, Erick Lindgren (winner of the $100,000 prelim event), and many, many more.
