Four Russian nationals have been indicted by the federal government for allegedly traveling to the United States to cheat at slot machines in Missouri, California and Illionis.
According to KSDK, the four used electronic devices to cheat at the casinos, which involved devices that would communicate with a foreign server, allowing them to predict the outcome of the complex machines somehow.
Murat Bliev, 36, Yevgeniy Nazarov, 38, Igor Lavrenov, 28, Ivan Gudalov, 32, were indicted on charges of “traveling in interstate and foreign commerce in furtherance of the conspiracy.”
They could spend years in prison if convicted, and each face up to a $250,000 fine.
