The 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $10,300 main event drew a total field of 816 players to build a prize pool of $7,915,200. After five full days of play there are now only six players remaining to battle it out for the title and the $1,491,580 first-place prize.

The chip leader heading into the final day is Chance Kornuth with 7,860,000 of the 24,480,000 chips in play. The 26-year-old Floridian had a breakout year on the live tournament circuit in 2014, winning the Bellagio Cup main event for $526,224 last summer and then taking down the Card Player Poker Tour Caribbean Cruise main event in the fall. Now he is in a fantastic to position to start off 2015 with yet another big win, although he will have a number of tough competitors to deal with including WSOP bracelet winner Rami Boukai.

EPT main events are played eight handed and usually begin their final tables with eight players as well. This year the decision was made to continue playing down to six, perhaps due to the fact that last year’s PCA main event didn’t finish up until after 5:00 AM local time.

Therefore the day came to a close with the elimination of rising American star Pratyush Buddiga in seventh place. Buddiga spent much of the day as one of the largest stacks but slid down the leader board late in the day. On the final hand he moved all-in from under the gun with the AClub SuitJHeart Suit and was quickly called by Kevin Schulz’s ASpade SuitAHeart Suit.

Buddiga picked up a lot of outs when the flop brought the JClub Suit8Club Suit6Club Suit but failed to improve from there, with the 7Diamond Suit falling on the turn and the 8Diamond Suit hitting the river. Buddiga earned $203,420 for his deep run just a month after taking down a $25,000 high roller event at Aria in Las Vegas for $543,683.

The final table will be broadcast with hole cards on a one hour delay, with play resuming at 1:00 PM Eastern and the stream going live at 2:00 PM. The stream can be found on PokerStars TV or on Twitch, which is available on many video game systems and smart televisions.

Here is a look at the chip counts heading into the final table:
