The largest main event of the 2014/2015 season of the World Series of Poker Circuit just wrapped up at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. Jose Montes topped the gigantic field of 1,363 entries to win the $352,669 first-place prize and his first WSOP Circuit gold ring.

“Tournament poker is so tough," admitted Montes after the win. "You get so close and it hurts when you lose. Still winning money and it still hurts. You want to win. I am a competitor; competitors want to win every time. I want to play every time and I never want to bust out. I want to win every time.”

Montes came into the final day in seventh chip position out of 16 remaining players, including the likes of Circuit ring winner Ryan Tepen and 2013 Card Player Poker Tour Choctaw main event winner Mohammad Arani.
