Pala Interactive, which is majority-owned by the California-based Pala band of Mission Indians, has kicked off its online gambling business in the state of New Jersey.

The group is partnered with the Borgata, which also has a partnership with bwin.party.

The Pala band of Mission Indians own the Pala Casino Spa and Resort near San Diego.

According to pressofatlanticcity.com, the gambling site has 27 games available right now.

The site says its poker offerings are “coming soon.”

Pala’s online gambling is run by CEO Jim Ryan, former boss at bwin.party.

The group received a license from New Jersey late last year.

Online gambling revenues in New Jersey have been holding steady as of late, even though poker is representing a smaller portion of the pie than it once did.

Online poker revenues in Nevada and Delaware have also been remaining flat.

Six Atlantic City casinos have online gambling operations through various tech partners.
