A total of 1,651 players turned out for the $1,500 six-handed no-limit hold’em tournament at the 2015 World Series of Poker, generating a total prize pool of $2,228,850. After three days of action, the win went to 24-year-old IT professional Idan Raviv, from Holon, Israel. This is the second year in a row that a player from Israel has won a bracelet.

This was Raviv’s third career cash at the WSOP with his previous best score being $4,728 for finishing 181st in the 2014 WSOP main event. For the victory, Raviv earned $457,007 and his first career gold bracelet.

To claim victory, Raviv had to get past runner-up Iaron Lightbourne, who is best known for his 22nd place finish in the 2014 WSOP main event. Other notables at the final table included Markus Gonsalves (4th), Craig McCorkell (5th) and Mike Watson (6th).

Watson now has 32 cashes at the WSOP without winning a bracelet. He has finished runner-up three times and is considered to be one of the best players in the game today without a bracelet.
