The $1,500 pot-limit Omaha event at the 2015 World Series of Poker drew a field of 978 players, creating a total prize pool of $1,320,300. After four days of action, it was tournament grinder Corrie Wunstel who emerged with the victory, earning $267,435 and his first gold WSOP bracelet.

Wunstel, who resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been grinding the circuit heavily over the last three years and now has $845,000 in career live tournament earnings. To get his latest win, he had to best runner-up Kevin Saul, who was also looking for his first bracelet.

Saul appeared to have the bracelet won at one point, and was just one card away from the title. Saul held a straight on the turn and Wunstel held bottom set. The river paired the board, and Wunstel doubled up to a big chip lead.

Other notables who made deep runs in the event included Jared Ingles (14th), Ray Davis (20th), Brandon Cantu (21st), Alex Kravchenko (24th) and Jonathan Little (25th).

Here is a look at the final table results.
