Heartland Poker Tour Sponsors Charity Poker Event

Windy City Nights Casino-Themed Festivities Benefit Junior League of Chicago

On Saturday, March 3, from 7 p.m. to midnight, the Junior League of Chicago (JLC) will host the Windy City Nights Ante UpJunior League of Chicago for Charity poker tournament at the Tavern Club. All proceeds from the $150 no-limit hold'em event will benefit JLC and Chicago women and children in need. The event also Relax Reislingincludes a silent auction featuring A.M. Feldman jewelry. Adding to the casino-themed festivities are side games of poker, roulette, black jack, and craps.

Sponsoring the event are Gerard Design, Bronze Relax Riesling, and Miller beer. Renowned author, columnist, and ESPN 1000 Sports Talk Radio host Steve Rosenbloom will serve as master of ceremonies.Heartland Poker Tour Logo Your reporter will lead the freeze-out hold'em poker tournament.

JLC President Michelle Kerr added, "We appreciate our sponsors and their dedication to help build better communities. The Junior League of Chicago has a tradition of volunteerism supported by community leaders and corporations."

Players will compete for the title of JLC Texas Hold'em Champion along with other prizes. Heartland Poker Tour, whose motto is "real people, unreal money," is giving away a satellite entry into their televised main event March 24 atMiller Beer the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, Indiana. Professional poker player Robert Williamson III is donating an Official Gamer Package.
