The very popular Empire State Hold’em Championship is returning to the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York this August, with Poker Night In America set to host the main event.
Beginning Aug. 3 and running through Aug. 16, the Empire State Hold’em Championship will host 21 tournaments featuring buy-ins as low as $145. The series is highlighted by the $1,100 buy-in main event, which boasts a $250,000 guarantee and two starting days on Aug. 7 and 8. The final table of the main event will be televised.

In addition to seven $235 buy-in main event qualifiers, players can also take advantage of a special half-price sit-n-go satellite promotion being run by Turning Stone on July 11, 18 and 25. Players can put up just $130 at these 10-handed tables and the top two players will earn seats into the main event.
