According to a report from The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, a Rivers Casino employee saw a federal jury on Wednesday decide that she is owed $150,000 by the property because the casino rescinded a lifetime ban against a high roller that allegedly sexually harassed her.

In April 2014, the high roller put a $1 chip into her bra and touched her breast while she was working, the employee said. The employee declined to press charges after the casino banned the gambler.

According to the lawsuit, the gambler’s “friends and family are also high rollers at the casino.”

The ban was rescinded less than two months later. The suit, filed in November, says that the employee was ridiculed by her coworkers as a result of the incident and that she had “continued contact” with the gambler who allegedly sexually harassed her.

“As a result of the comments, sneers and jeers and her continued contact with the customer of the casino, plaintiff has suffered from a loss of tip income and has been affected in the daily performance of her duties as a cocktail waitress,” the lawsuit stated.

According to the report, the jury is still deciding whether to award her punitive damages.
