Casino Took Black Employees Off Floor When Donald Trump Was Around: Former EmployeeProperty Formerly Known As Trump's Castle Accused In Report |

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump was once involved in the casino business in Atlantic City, and even though his name is still on an operating casino there, he is basically out of that industry in New Jersey. However, his past there could come back to bite him, according to a report from MotherJones.com.
Citing an article published this month by The New Yorker, the Mother Jones piece highlighted alleged workplace misconduct on behalf of Trump’s former casino. At Trump’s Castle, now the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, black employees were made to hide from view when Trump arrived at the casino, a former employee claims.
“When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” he said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: they put us all in the back.”
Last year, Trump said publicly that “Atlantic City lost its magic after I left years ago.”
The 69-year-old billionaire has sued to get his name off a couple of Atlantic City casinos.
