A new tribal casino in North Carolina opened its doors on Monday. The property is a partnership between the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation and Caesars Entertainment.

The $110 million casino had been in development since 2013. It’s called Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino, and it’s the state’s second casino.

The casino resort has 50,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,000 slot machines and 70 table games. It also has a food court and a 300-room hotel.

According to the groups, more than 1,000 jobs were created.

According to a report from FOX Carolina, Cherokee County officials estimate it will bring more than four million visitors to the area each year.

The state’s other casino, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, opened in 1997.

Tribal gaming in the United States had gross gaming revenue of $28.5 billion in 2014, the most ever for the industry. Though, it was a small 1.5-percent increase compared to 2013.

North Carolina and the other tribal gaming states in the eastern region of the United States accounted for $6.8 billion of that figure last year.
