The Bicycle Casino will become the Bicycle Hotel & Casino in December.

The property will open a seven-story, 117,907 square-foot boutique luxury hotel addition on Dec. 1, 2015. The hotel will open with 99 rooms and suites and also include The Bike Brewery and other resort amenities such as a full spa and elevated outdoor pool deck with private cabanas.

The $50 million hotel comes from commercial luxury general contractor R.D. Olson Construction, along with Lee & Sakahara Architects. The interior design is from Hager Design International, Inc.

A floor design of overlapping circles, inspired by a bicycle wheel, winds its way to a variety of amenities, including dining, a coffee house, a gift shop, entry to the casino concourse and an Asia-theme VIP gaming area. The second floor has a state-of-the-art fitness center, the outdoor pool deck and the hotel spa and sauna. There are also 9,000 square-feet of multi-purpose event and private meeting space.

“The Bicycle Hotel & Casino will bring unprecedented sophistication and style to the Los Angeles hospitality/gaming sector and cater to the full spectrum of card-cutting enthusiasts, national and international guests and premier poker tours,” the casino said in a statement.

The Bike was already one of the hottest venues in the area thanks to a 100,000 square-foot gaming floor that has 185 tables of poker and card games, including Texas hold’em, Omaha, seven-card stud, pai gow poker, baccarat and blackjack. The hotel will only add to the property’s success.

The 29 luxury suites will range from the Classic Suite (648 sq. ft.), the signature Bike Suite (904 sq. ft.), the Governor’s Suite (1,359 sq. ft.) and a Presidential Suite (2,007 sq. ft.). The Presidential Suit has two bedrooms, a formal living room and a Jacuzzi tub.

“With the addition of the hotel property, The Bicycle Hotel & Casino is now a full-service, multi-sensory gaming and resort destination for Los Angeles and all of Southern California,” Managing General Partner and CEO Hashem Minaiy said. “Our vision was to design and build a sophisticated and luxurious hotel property, an urban retreat which welcomes guests locally, nationally and internationally.”

Robert H. Carter, President of Carter Management Group, Inc., a General Partner of The Bicycle Hotel & Casino, called the property “a true four-star experience” and that it is “a dream fully realized, a perfect complement to the casino, and we can’t wait to share it with our guests.”

The Bicycle Hotel & Casino is located just fifteen minutes from Downtown Los Angeles in Bell Gardens.
