Swedish poker pro Mikael Thuritz was the king of the online poker world over the past seven days. The long-time high-stakes grinder took in $318,000 after 10 unique sessions since last Friday, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB.
The winnings have brought his lifetime earnings on PokerStars under the screen name “ChaoRen160” to $871,358. He is still down nearly $400,000 on 2015, however.
In addition to the cash game earnings over the course of his career, Thuritz has cashed for a solid $1.7 million lifetime in tournaments.
Other big winners from the week include Doug “WCG|Rider” Polk ($167,546), “JLlama” ($97,495), Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby ($70,309) and Ben “Ben86” Tollerene ($68,899).
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Alex “Kanu7” Millar and Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky all had small winning weeks.
The players who lost big on the week were Alex “joiso” Kostritsyn (-$214,342), “TheFish77” (-$118,948), Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies (-$104,310), “Crazy Elior” (-$86,955) and “RaúlGonzalez” (-$69,609).
Ronny “1-ronnyr3” Kaiser and Mike “gordo16” Gorodinsky lost a bit as well.
With roughly three weeks left in 2015, Blom still leads the online poker world with $2.2 million in profits. Phil “Polarizing” Ivey has $3.73 million in losses, the most in the other direction.
