USA TodayControversial Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel reportedly was seen gambling on the Las Vegas Strip the night before his then 3-12 team played the final game of the regular season Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Casino employees and patrons saw or interacted with him at Planet Hollywood, according to a report from USA Today. The 23-year-old was not expected to play in Sunday’s game due to concussion concerns.

The Browns ended up losing 28-12, falling to 3-13, a record that has become about the norm for them.

According to SB Nation, there was some confusion because Manziel uploaded a photo to his Instagram account with the location of Avon, OH, on Saturday, but the report said that Manziel likely added the location to the photo after it was posted to make it seem like he was still in Ohio.

Manziel was reportedly back in Ohio Monday morning. It could be his last season with the Browns. The Texan was drafted by the Browns with the 22nd overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

According to various other reports, the Browns were unaware he was in Vegas this past weekend.
