Well, we’re here. The divisional playoff round is the last week of this NFL season that will have significant DFS action. Luckily, we’ve stumbled into four really interesting matchups that should make for competitive games and an enjoyable DFS sweat.

For the last time this year, we’re going to look at four wide receivers that can help your FantasyDraft team compete in the Run & Gun tournament.

Demaryius Thomas ($13,300) – While ‘DT’ didn’t quite live up to expectations this season, he was actually very solid, reaching double-digit FantasyDraft points in all but one game. He also has already shown an ability to beat this Pittsburgh defense, hitting them for a 5-61-2 line in week 15. That line makes sense because the way to attack Pittsburgh’s defense is through the air, as they had the 5th ranked run defense and 15th ranked pass defense by Football Outsiders’ DVOA. People may be concerned with Peyton Manning’s return hurting Thomas, but he was actually slightly better in the early part of the season with Manning than later on with Osweiler.

Julian Edelman ($13,300) – With the injury questions surrounding Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger this week combined with them having the toughest matchup in the league, I’m avoiding Brown and paying up for the next two top options on the board. Edelman hasn’t seen game action since week 10, but he’s been practicing since the week leading up to week 16. With three weeks of being healthy enough to practice, I feel good about locking Edelman in this week. Tom Brady trusts him above all else, and feeds him heavily throughout the game. In full PPR formats like FantasyDraft that equates to a high floor and a high ceiling for Edelman making him one of my favorite receivers of the week.

Michael Floyd ($10,200) – While Floyd will theoretically bring inconsistent results due to not being a full time player and seeing many of his targets well down the field, he only posted one dud in the nine weeks prior to week 17, which was a game that got out of hand against Seattle and Carson Palmer didn’t even play the second half. Showing some consistency and lots of upside, Floyd makes for a great play at this price point on FantasyDraft this week. As the season went on, Carson Palmer’s comfort level with Floyd only seemed to grow, and there’s no reason to think Floyd won’t be a big part of the gameplan against the Packers this weekend.

James Jones ($9,100) – Aaron Rodgers’ clear number one receiver over the last month of the season, Jones kept it up in the wild card round, posting a 7-81 line on 11 targets against the Redskins. In the Packers – Cardinals week 16 matchup, the Cardinals stuck ace corner Patrick Peterson on Randall Cobb for most of the game. If they take that route again, Jones will battle against the weaker parts of Arizona’s secondary, and we already know he’s Aaron Rodgers top target. The main risk this week with Jones is Arizona deciding to use Peterson to take him out of the game, which while not a death knell would be bad news. If the Cardinals don’t take that route, Jones is lined up for a nice game.
