On Wednesday, SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia will unveil their brand new 6,000-square foot poker Poker Night In America poker room. The 28-table room will be commemorated in an event featuring Philadelphia Eagles legends Dick Vermeil and Vince Papale, as well as poker room ambassador Matt Glantz.

To celebrate the new room, SugarHouse Casino will kick off the SugarHouse Poker Night Classic, a 35-tournament series running over 20 days between Mar. 23-Apr. 11 that features buy-ins ranging from $95 to $1,100. The Poker Night In America production crew will be on hand to record a high-stakes cash game featuring WSOP main event winner Joe McKeehen. The main event final table will also be live streamed on Apr. 11.

“Being the first-ever Poker Night in America Poker Room is a big honor for the SugarHouse team,” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. “In addition to continuing our high-caliber tournaments, poker fans will get to see some of the game’s best players here in Philadelphia.”

The new room also features built-in charging stations for all 252 poker room seats.

During the room’s dedication, special events will include a meet-and-greet with Vermeil and Papale. Also, the first 100 poker players who register for the first SugarHouse Poker Night Classic will get a welcome gift.
