With $535,000 in chips, Mark Seif is leading all players who are still left after the second day of the $5,000 World Poker Tour's World Poker Challenge. He's only 26 eliminations away from winning his first WPT title, but he has a lot f poker - and very good players - to get through.
Starting at noon PT today, the remaining 27 players will again take their seats and play down to the final six. Seif may lead the tournament now, but he has plenty of quality players breathing down his neck.
Right behind him is Juan Carlos Alvarado with $456,500. David Pham has the third-most chips with $384,500 with Danny Wong ($325,000) right behind him. Those remaining in the tournament include Joe Sebok ($241,500), Erick Lindgren ($188,000), Mike Matusow ($165,500), J.C. Tran ($152,000), Brandon Cantu ($142,500), and Mimi Tran ($75,500).
