Doug Polk, widely regarded as one of, if not the, top heads-up no-limit hold’em cash game players in the world, reiterated Sunday that he is a tournament wizard as well. Polk outlasted a 1,452-player $700 buy-in on PokerStars for a $162,951 payday.
The tournament, which had a $750,000 guarantee, was dubbed “Kilimanjaro,” and Polk was actually streaming his play at the final table on Twitch.
