Playing in the main event in poker’s largest tournament is a dream come true for many card aficionados. Saturday, May 21, Pechanga Resort & the event, scoring him or her a seat at the main event in July this year.
Poker players who think they have what it takes to play in the top tournament in the world should mark their calendars for Saturday, May 21 at 2:00p.m. and get themselves to the Pechanga Poker Room. The Las Vegas Main Event Prize Package tournament gets underway for who qualify by playing 30 hours of live play between May 1 and May 20. Players who are seated during that time for an additional 40 hours or more will receive an extra $5,000 in chips during the tournament. The last player left seated takes first place and an $11,000 prize package. Ten thousand dollars will be for the winner’s buy-in to the summer poker tournament’s main event. The remaining $1,000 is theirs to use for hotel, food and whatever else they choose to have stay in Vegas. The second through 11th place players will take home $400 each.
Poker players can also look forward to more fun tournaments and promotions in May at Pechanga Poker.
Memorial Day Weekend ushers in a big weekend tournament series with the competition heating up Saturday, May 28. At 2:00p.m., players can get ready for the $75,000 guaranteed No Limit Hold ‘Em $300 buy-in event. Sunday, May 29 at 2:00p.m. is the $25,000 guaranteed event with a $150 buy-in and Monday, May 30 at 2:00p.m. the $10,000 guaranteed event with a $65 buy-in gets started. Retired and active military will receive a $15 discount on buy-ins.
Mondays and Fridays at Pechanga Poker get warmed up with $50 Hot, Hot Hot Seats. Every 15 minutes, a player seated at a live game between 12:00p.m. and 4:00p.m. and between 8:00p.m. and 11:00p.m. will be randomly selected to receive $50 in cash. Memorial Day is excluded from this promotion.
The Survivor Tournament gets underway every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00a.m. in May. The events carry a $3,000 guarantee and a $40 buy-in. and Sunday. Wednesdays from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., players can get in on the Bounty Tournament for a $40 buy-in. Bounties for other players are $10.
