About two months after the nomination process began, the World Series of Poker on Friday announced the list of 10 finalists for the 2016 Poker Hall of Fame class. Two poker stars will get in this fall.

Chris Bjorin, Bruno Fitoussi, Carlos Mortensen, Max Pescatori, Matt Savage and the late David Ulliott were all finalists last year. Humberto Brenes is also on this year’s list, after being nominated in the past. The first-time finalists are Todd Brunson, Eli Elezra and Chris Moneymaker, who just turned 40 years old, the minimum to get in.

Living Poker Hall of Fame members and a blue ribbon media panel have about a month to cast votes on the final list of nominees to determine the class of 2016. The enshrinement ceremony will take place as part of the November Nine main event final table festivities.

The induction ceremony and dinner are set for Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the famed Longhorn Room at Binion’s in downtown Las Vegas, where the WSOP was once held.

There are currently 50 members of the Poker Hall of Fame, which was established in 1979. It was acquired, along with the WSOP, by Harrah’s Entertainment in 2004.

In addition to having to be at least 40, the other main criteria for the Poker Hall of Fame are that the player must have “played poker against acknowledged top competition” and “for high stakes,” while playing “consistently well” and “gaining the respect of peers.” The player must have lasted in the poker world too, as another standard is that they “stood the test of time.” For those who weren’t poker pros, they must have “contributed to the overall growth and success of the game of poker, with indelible positive and lasting results.”

Last year, John Juanda and Jen Harman were chosen. The year prior, Daniel Negreanu and tournament director Jack McClelland were inducted.
