November, the first full month after the Trump Taj Mahal closed, wasn’t great for the Atlantic City casino industry.
According to figures from state gaming regulators, citywide gaming win for the month was $197.3 million, down 3.5 percent compared to the $204.3 million in November 2015.
Internet gaming revenue was $17.2 million in November compared to $13.2 million last year, reflecting an increase of 30 percent.
If you don’t include online gaming, casino win of $180.1 million was down nearly six percent compared to the $191.1 million in November 2015.
Through all but the last month of 2016, the Atlantic City casino industry won $2.4 billion from gamblers, up one percent compared to the $2.37 billion won in the same period last year. In 2006, Atlantic City won $5.2 billion from gamblers.
Internet play was up 32.3 to $178.3 million through November.
