PartyPoker Million North America Scheduled For May At Playground Poker ClubPlayers Can Qualify For $5 Million Guaranteed Event Live Or Online |

In May, the PartyPoker Million North America main event will take place at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada. The CAD $5,000+$300 buy-in event features a CAD $5 million guaranteed prize pool, along with a CAD $1 million guaranteed first-place prize.
Day 1 can be played either live at Playground Poker Club or online at PartyPoker. There are two starting flights for each, with online play taking place April 23 and 30 at 9 p.m. The live starting days kick off May 5 and 6 at noon.
Each day 1 player will start the tournament with 1 million in chips and blinds of 2,500-5,000. Players can enter multiple starting flights and advance their best stack forward to day 2, which will take place live at Playground on May 7. On May 10, the final table will play out to determine a winner.
Players looking for a discount on the buy-in can win their way into day 1 of the event at a fraction of the cost with phase 1. There are three phase 1 options. Every Sunday at 9 p.m., starting on Jan. 22, PartyPoker will host a $410 satellite. After 19 levels, all remaining players will qualify for day 1 which can be played live or online.
The other two phase 1 options are available at Playground. Every Thursday and Sunday starting on Feb. 16, the top five percent of the field in a CAD $250+$25 satellite will advance to day 1. Additionally, on the last Sunday of every month, starting Feb. 26, the top 10 percent of a CAD $500+$50 satellite will earn their seat.
