|
Saturday, January 28 was an action-packed day at the Ocean’s 11 Casino in Oceanside, CA. The casino celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary, complete with a cake-cutting ceremony that was followed up with pieces of cake being passed around the poker room. Customers were also treated to free commemorative shirts and prize giveaways, including $10,000 in cash that was up for grabs.
While all of that excitement was going on the casino was also playing host to the fifth and sixth starting flights of the 2017 Card Player Poker Tour Ocean’s 11 $250 buy-in no-limit hold’em event. Flight 1E drew 153 entries while flight 1F added another 94. After the six starting flights there have been 582 entries.
Players who still want to take part in this exciting event can buy directly into day 2 by taking advantage of the Quantum Reload structure. Players who exercise this option can enter on Sunday, Jan. 29 by 1 p.m. no late registration) for only $1,500. Direct buy in still gives players a healthy starting stack of 100,000 (20,000 more with an optional $30 staff add on) and 40-minute rounds to work with.
