This April, the Card Player Poker Tour will return to Ocean’s 11 Casino in Oceanside, California for a $250 buy-in main event. The event will also feature the popular Quantum Reload format, which allows players to buy in directly to the final day.
With an estimated prizepool of $100,000, the tournament offers three starting flights April 20-22 and a final day. With the Quantum Reload option, players can enter the final day for $1,500 and receive an average stack.
This is the third CPPT event that will take place at Ocean’s 11. In April of 2016, Robert DeAgazio took home $23,813 for topping a field of 778 entries. In January of 2017, Barry Knowlton pocketed $17,157 after he outlasted a field of 582.
Ocean’s 11 is the only casino in Southern California located along the Pacific Ocean on the Interstate 5 freeway, less than a mile from some of the area’s most picturesque beaches.
Ocean’s 11 Casino boasts 50 tables of the best poker and table games found anywhere in California with all the favorite poker games, including no-limit and limit Texas hold’em, Omaha, Omaha hi-lo split eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha, and crazy pineapple.
The casino also offers daily and nightly tournaments Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m., plus Friday at 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday players can enjoy the $10,000 Guarantee Deepstack tournaments.
