This April, Americas Cardroom kicks off the Online Super Series Cub3d, a three-part online tournament series with a whopping $5.7 million in guaranteed prize money up for grabs.
That’s a $1.2 million increase from 2016, when ACR guaranteed $4.5 million and ultimately paid out more than $6.5 million. With more cash on the line, tournament organizers anticipate another record-breaking series.
The action kicks off this Sunday, April 9 and continues through May 7.
If you’re new to the OSS Cub3d, you’re going to be all over it. It’s a 3-part online tournament series featuring a Mini Online Super Series (MOSS) April 9-16, an Online Super Series (OSS) April 19-30, and a Bigger Online Super Series (BOSS) May 3-7.
With each series, the buy-ins and stakes grow bigger. The MOSS, for example, offers up buy-ins from as low as $0.06 while the BOSS features a main event with a $2,100 buy-in.
While there’s big money on the table in every event, including the $1 million guaranteed Million Dollar Sunday on April 30, there’s even more at stake. OSS Cub3d also includes a leaderboard component that encourages you to play in as many events as possible.
By earning points, you’ll rank on a leaderboard and compete for one of three $4,900 Punta Cana Poker Classic prize packages and a commemorative sterling silver bracelet. Each main event winner for the MOSS, OSS and BOSS get a bracelet too.
