The 125 poker tables in the state of Indiana raked a combined $1.8 million last month, according to figures from state gambling regulators.

That was more or less unchanged from the $1.86 million raked in March 2016, the state data shows.

Horseshoe Casino Hammond led the way last month with $945,000 in poker room revenue, followed by Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana ($326,000), Tropicana Evansville ($173,000), Majestic Star Casino ($141,000), Blue Chip Casino ($106,000), Hollywood Casino Indiana ($78,000) and Belterra Casino ($28,000).

Horseshoe Casino Hammond is located less than 20 miles from Chicago, a metro area home to some 9.5 million people.

Seven of the state’s 13 gambling facilities have poker rooms.

The 13 properties won a combined $211.3 million from gamblers in March, up 4.3 percent from the $202.5 million won from all the games in March 2016.

Poker represented about one percent of overall gaming win.
