First Annual Binion's Poker Classic ScheduledTournament Features Smaller Buy-ins and Less No-limit Hold'em |
|
The legendary Binion's Casino will host the first annual Binion's Poker Classic this summer during nearly the same time frame as the World Series of Poker (June 1-July 17), Bellagio Cup III (June 11-July 15), and the Venetian's Deep Stack Extravaganza (June 1-July 1). However, the much smaller buy-ins and variety of events will likely attract a different crowd.
The series is set to take place June 1-July 4 and, unlike the other three tournament series, most of the buy-ins are $250 or less and only 15 of the 34 events are no limit. There are $100, $150, $200, and $250 buy-ins, as well as three $500 no-limit tournaments and one $1,000 pot-limit Omaha event.
The other 19 events include games such as razz, limit deuce-to-seven triple draw, seven-card stud eight-or-better, limit Omaha eight-or better, ladies no limit, H.O.R.S.E., and a $100 buy-in rebuy tournament.
Each event is scheduled as a one-day tournament. For more information, contact the Binion's poker room at 702-382-1699 and click here to view the entire schedule.
