WSOP.comHe makes his living on the felt, but the gambling machines gave him his biggest paydays this summer.

It’s an understatement to say poker pro Kyle Cartwright has been running hot at video poker since June. He has won three separate $100,000 jackpots thanks to hitting royal flushes. Amazingly, they were all in hearts. The latest happened just last week on a $125 spin.

The odds of hitting one of them are about 40,000 to 1.

Cartwright, who hails from Memphis, TN, has more than $1.4 million in lifetime tournament earnings, including a WSOP bracelet and six WSOP Circuit rings.

“I don’t remember the exact amount I was in for on the first two [jackpots] in Vegas,” Cartwright told Card Player. “I know it was somewhere around $7,000 on the first and $9,000 on the second. No state taxes in Vegas, so $90,000+ profits on them both. My last one in Tunica I was down around $2,000-$3,000 before I hit.”
