WSOP Ladies Championship Event Concludes Today

The World Series of Poker's $1,000 Ladies World Championship Event concludes today. The final table starts at 2 p.m. PT.

The final nine and their chip counts are:

  • Frauke Sporschill, $523,000
  • Mindy Trinidad, $444,000
  • Vanessa Selbst, $354,000
  • Katja Thater, $340,000
  • Sally Boyer, $326,000
  • Anne Heft, $277,000
  • Kathleen Gliva, $147,000
  • Randi Calabro, $110,000
  • Julie Dang, $48,000

The event attracted 1,286 women and was a three-day event. Last year's champion, Mary Jones, finished 16th this year. The winner of the event receives a bracelet designed specifically for the ladies event and $262,077. Runner-up wins $166,177 and all the players are guaranteed at least $14,628.
