Sally BoyerThe World Series of Poker Academy is bringing back its ladies edition June 6-7 in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace, and Annie Duke is returning as host.

The entry fee for the two-day event is $1,699, but attendees will get priceless training from Duke as well as Alex “The Insider” Outhred and former FBI agent and poker-tells expert Joe Navarro. The instructors will provide in-depth seminars, live hand demonstrations, interactive workshops, and tips on no-limit hold’em strategy.

Also, the ladies will get the opportunity to compete in a private tournament that will award the top four finishers a $1,500 entry into a 2008 WSOP event of the their choice.

Last year, in the first-ever ladies-only academy, only WSOP ladies-event seats were given away. Attendee Sally Boyer didn’t win her seat from the freeroll, but she studied what she learned at the academy and went on to win the WSOP Ladies World Championship, outlasting 1,286 other entrants.
