Card Player Poker Tour bestbet Jacksonville Main Event Draws 163 For Day 1ADay 1B Begins Saturday at Noon, Registration Open Until 7:30 Local Time |

The Card Player Poker Tour has rolled into bestbet Jacksonville for an $1,100 main event, and by all indications, it looks like it will be a success.
The day 1A flight drew 163 entrants, which puts the tournament well ahead of pace for its $200,000 guarantee, and is nearly a full table more than what the event drew last year for the same flight, which was 155. Tournament officials expect an even larger turnout for Saturday’s starting flight and an overall prize pool that may wind up doubling the guarantee.
Each player in the field started with a stack of 25,000, or 250 big blinds. You can check out the tournament structure here.
Leading the field at the end of the night was Nghia “Peter” Le, who bagged up a whopping 359,500. That’s currently worth nearly three times the average stack. Other players who bagged up monster stacks included William O’Neal, Mike Tran, and Enos Smith.
Defending champion Jared Reinstein, who has three total cashes in this event in his career, managed to hang on at the end of the day with 49,000.
By the end of the night, only 33 remained. Those players will get the day off on Saturday and will combine with the day 1B field on Sunday to play down to a final table.
Day 1B begins Saturday at noon, with registration open until the start of level 10, around 7:30 p.m.
