Although the field was whittled down from 78 to 10 relatively quickly, the final table bubble lasted for quite some time. The final ten players took a conservative route to the final table, and even went 45 minutes before seeing a river card.
In the end, the bubble belonged to none other than 2017 CPPT bestbet Jacksonville main event winner, Jared Reinstein. The Tallahassee resident was looking to make back-to-back-to-back final tables but fell just short when his pocket tens ran into pocket queens.
In the six years this tournament has run at bestbet, Reinstein has cashed four times. He finished 22nd in 2014, and eighth in 2016 before winning it all last year.
