Credit: USA TodayWho says Floyd “Money” Mayweather needs the UFC’s Conor McGregor to make a killing in Las Vegas these days?

The sort-of retired boxer was at an unnamed Las Vegas casino on Sunday and played a little video poker, according to his Instagram. According to reports, Mayweather began the gambling session with $20,000, and ended up winning $101,000 after making a royal flush on a “Ten Play Draw Poker” machine.

Mayweather reportedly was only betting $125 per hand, which makes his win pretty sick.

The 50-0 boxing great last fought in August of last year, but there have been rumors and reports over the past several months that he is considering a foray into MMA. Some Las Vegas sports books even began taking action on a potential Mayweather MMA bout.

Mayweather poured some cold water on the rumors this month, according to a report from MMA Junkie. “I’m not thinking about fighting right now,” he said while on vacation.

The 41-year-old is widely known as a gambler, especially when it comes to sports. Despite the $100,000 video poker win and other massive scores at the sports books, not everyone is convinced that Mayweather is a winner in the casinos.

“I think he has a big-time gambling problem,” McGregor told reporters during a press conference during the build-up to their so-called megafight. “From seeing him, he gambles on halftimes and things like that. He shows what his wins are, never shows what the losses are. Maybe that’s why he is in this position he is in and he had to take this fight.”
