Hellmuth Looking to Make It a WSOP Dozen Today

After Winning #11 Last Week, He Has Chance for #12 Today

Barely a week removed from winning his eleventh record-breaking World Series of Poker bracelet, Phil Hellmuth is nine players away from winning number 12.

Hellmuth has a chance to add another bracelet to his already massive collection of WSOP gold today when event 28, the $3,000 no limit hold'em event that attracted 827 players, concludes. The final table is scheduled to convene at 2 p.m. PT.

Hellmuth sits 10th in chips with $213,000. Tthe chip leader, Dustin Holmes, has more than $1 million. All the chip counts for this tournament can be found here.

Last Monday, Hellmuth broke a threeway tie for the most WSOP bracelets in history, which he shared with Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan, when he won event 15, the $1,500 no-limit event.

All of Hellmuth's WSOP bracelets have been won in hold'em events.

This year, he also added another four cashes to the 57 he brought in to the 2007 WSOP, which is the most in WSOP history. By making this final table, he moves into a tie with T.J. Cloutier on the most WSOP final tables list with 39.
