Hosted by casino legend Jack Binion, Keep Memory Alive invites you to “Go All in for Memories”, at the inaugural Texas Hold’em charity poker tournament on Friday, September 21 at the renowned Frank Gehry–designed Keep Memory Alive event center near Downtown Las Vegas.
Many notable poker players have signed up to help raise funds and awareness for the patients and caregivers at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo for Brain Health. For a $500 buy-in fee, you can sit among elite players and celebrities such as ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Doyle Brunson, six-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu, two-time bracelet winner and Card Player Publisher Barry Shulman, Poker Hall of Fame member Jack McClelland and entrepreneur and television personality Jon Taffer. The champion of the charity tournament is set to take home $10,000 cash, with plenty of other fantastic prizes on offer.
In true Vegas-style, this fun evening will feature first-class wine, tantalizing cocktails, interactive food stations by Clique Hospitality and music by Michael Shulman. Try your luck at the poker table, roulette wheel, and silent auction to help support no-cost services for caregivers, research programs, and world-class patient care battling memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and multiple system atrophy.
Tickets to the event are $100, with those interested encouraged to register by Sept. 14. The recommended dress code is casual. The event kicks off at 5:30, and there will be a poker tutorial at 6:00 p.m., with the tournament beginning at 6:30.
