Timur Margolin has won the fifth gold-bracelet event of the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe. The 34-year-old from Israel defeated a field of 666 players who came out to the Kings Casino Rozvadov for the €1,100 ‘Monster Stack’ no-limit hold’em event, emerging victorious with his second bracelet and the €134,407 ($154,568 USD) first-place prize. Earlier this year Margolin outlasted 1,247 other players to win a $2,500 no-limit hold’em event at the Series in Las Vegas, taking home $507,274 as the champion. With this latest win in Europe, he has joined the elite group of players to have won multiple WSOP titles.

The final day of this event resumed with 14 players remaining. Margolin sat in second chip position behind Luiz Antonio Duarte Ferreira Filho. He fell down the leaderboard a bit by the time the final table was set but was able to double up through recent WSOPE bracelet winner Mykhailo Gutyi to rebuild his stack.

Margolin knocked out Michal Mrakes in fifth place ($33,192 USD) to take the chip lead, calling the short stack’s all-in with 5Spade Suit5Club Suit and holding up against the QSpade Suit9Diamond Suit. Not long after that, he scored another elimination, picking up the AClub SuitQSpade Suit and calling the all-in of Henrik Brockmann, who held the ADiamond Suit10Spade Suit. Neither player improved and Brockman was sent home in fourth place ($46,446 USD).

With that Margolin took a massive lead into three-handed play, sitting with more than 19 million while his two opponents had just over 7.2 million combined. Margolin made a full house against Sebastian Ulrich, who picked an unfortunate time to bluff and was eliminated in third place ($66,064 USD). Margolin’s stack grew to 24 million, which gave him nearly a 9-to-1 chip advantage over Raul Villarroel.

In the final hand, Margolin moved all-in from the button with the JDiamond Suit9Club Suit and Villarroel called with the 7Spade Suit7Heart Suit. The board ran out KHeart Suit4Spade Suit3Club Suit9Diamond Suit8Heart Suit and Margolin paired his nine on the turn to win the pot and the title. Villarroel took home $95,498 USD as the runner-up finisher.

In addition to his second bracelet and the money, Margolin was also awarded 840 Card Player Player of the Year points as the champion of this event. This was his fourth POY-qualified final table of the year, and the points he earned were enough to see him climb into 33rd place in the overall standings.

Here is a look at the payouts and POY points awarded at the final table:
