PokerStars is set to host a Moneymaker PSPC Tour $86 buy-in tournament this week at the Talking Stick Resort in Arizona with an incredible top prize: a Platinum Pass to the 2019 PokerStars Players No-Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC). The pass is valued at $30,000 and includes six nights accommodation at the Atlantis Resort Nassau in The Bahamas, $2,000 in travel expenses and room credits and a $25,000 entry to the PSPC, a massive high roller event that will end up with $9 million in money added to the prize pool. That huge amount of added value comes in large part from the 300 Platinum Passes that PokerStars will have given away this year, but there will also be $1,000,000 in money added to the top payout for the eventual champion by PokerStars.

Chris MoneymakerThe Moneymaker PSPC Tour is a commemoration of the 15 year anniversary of when Chris Moneymaker won a $86 satellite on PokerStars to qualify for the 2003 World Series of Poker main event, which of course he went on to win for $2.5 million. The tour has seen Moneymaker travel around the country since early August, with a Platinum Pass awarded at each of the eight stops that have wrapped up so far.

“I’m looking forward to having a blast and lots of laughs with the poker players of Arizona while playing at Talking Stick Resort,” said Moneymaker in a press release.

This week at Talking Stick Resort the event is set to kick off at 11:15 a.m. local time on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The second starting flight will begin at the same time on Thursday, Nov. 1. Re-entry will be available up until the first break at 12:45 p.m. local time. Day 2 will begin at 11:15 on Friday, Nov. 2.

“The Moneymaker PSPC Tour gives players a great day of poker for a low buy-in and a shot at a huge prize,” said Director of Public Relations for Talking Stick Resort Ramon Martinez. “It will be an exciting weekend that we know our players will enjoy.”
