Registration is officially closed in the 2018 Card Player Poker Tour Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event. The tournament featured a $200,000 guarantee, which was easily surpassed when a total of 249 entries were made, which saw the prize pool grow to $219,793. The final payouts have yet to be announced.
Day 1C was by far the largest of the three starting flights, with 153 entries made by the time the registration period came to an end. After 15 levels of action, only 31 players remained, with Vadim Rozin bagging up 349,000 for the largest stack at the end of the night. Day 1B’s Taheem Amandeep emerged is still the overall chip leader with 439,000. Day 1A’s largest stack Barry Kruger will enter day 2 with the second most chips, having ended the first starting flight with 424,000.
The remaining 31 players from day 1C will join the 24 from the first two starting flights, combining into one field on day 2, which resumes with the start of level 16 at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 18. Play will continue until the final table is set, with the champion of this event being decided on Monday, Nov. 19.
The Seneca Gaming and Entertainment poker room is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the first floor of the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel. The 23-table room features 13 big screen televisions, free wifi, free drinks, free parking, player rewards and spreads a large selection of hold’em, stud and Omaha games. The gaming floor offers roughly 4,000 slot machines, table games and keno.
